Food: Lentil Soup #Yum


 Lentils!
Until I became a pescetarian, I had never tried lentils and I feel sad that I didn't try them sooner.
They are soo yummy, moreish and incredibly satisfying.

I love em and have recently tried my very own Lentil soup recipe.

Ingredients
Dried Lentils- soaked overnight (Grams-depends on how much you like lentils but I used 200gms
1 medium red onion
1 medium white Onion
1 carrot
1 leek
2 cloves of garlic
1 green sweet pepper
1 tbsp paprika
1tsp cayenne Pepper
1 tsp of all Purpose seasoning
1tbsp crushed Black Pepper
1 bay Leaf
1 tsp salt
1/2 glass (tumbler) of water

Method.

I boiled the lentils till they were soft.
Softed the onions, garlic and pepper with the herbs spices.
Then added all the ingredients into a large pot to boil till all veg was soft
Added the water and left to simmer for 20mins or so and let the mixture cool.
Once cooled, I added the whole lot to a blender and enjoyed!
