In true festive fashion (in time for Valentines Day) my girl Mariah Carey has dropped the follow up single to 'The Art of Letting Go' off of her up and coming album; 'Your Mine (Eternal)'
On first listen the intro reminded me of a previous Mariah track 'Touch My Body' and definitely has that chilled, fun and romantic vibe about it, that Mariah does so well.
Although it's not as cleverly written as the Mariah tracks we're used to, her vocals are clean and comfortable (yas hunny my girl is coming back), and the vocal arrangements; trademark whistle and background vocals in particular, have no doubt been cleverly composed by Mimi herself.
This is a sweet trademark love ballad if ever I did hear one, which I know will be driving the LAMBS crazy, and I can't wait to hear what the album (which is set to be released on May 6th 2014) has to offer.
