Fashion: Top 5 Autumn Coats

***Top 5 Autumn Coats***

Autumn is my favourite time of the year.
It's so beautiful and we all get a chance to layer up with our favourite coats, hats, scarves, shawls and all our other essential autumn/winter accessories.
While on the hunt for a new coat I came across these beauties.
Personally I am spoilt for choice and currently wondering how many outfits I can wear with an orange coat....?
Hmmm I'll keep looking but for now...Here are my top 5 autumn coats.

@KittyD_Vision: Spa Getaway

Spa Getaway? Packing beautifully but efficiently!

Still holding on to summer I went away on a 4 day trip to a 5* Spa resort in Mallorca (Found through an awesome deal on Travelzoo – definitely one to keep a look at for holiday deals). With limited luggage allowance and 4 days in a fancy place meant 4 smart/casual breakfast outfits, couple of swimsuit ideas, an exploring outfit, airplane outfit, and 3 fancy dinner outfits. That’s a lot to fit into a 10k hand luggage wheelie. But with planning and careful selection – It was done!

Firstly I decided to pick one pair of heels for the 3 evenings that I could wear differently with various outfits, where comfy, pretty, and lightweight. I went for my Brown Gladiator style Heels. Evening 1) I wore a H&M Black Silk cami top with lace trimming, skinny jeans and heels. Evening 2) Skinny Jeans with a Dark Grey Zara top with high slits on the sides… and heels. Evening 3) was a floaty, no-need to iron floaty dress with heels. All of which took a quarter of my case.
Breakfast was a lot easier I packed another pair of jeans with a couple of t-shirts to wear different days and alternated between some converse shoes and my bright coral flip flops. Other Quarter of my case taken. Half a suitcase to go…

Spa & Gym? Easy ~ one bikini for tanning by the outdoor pool and chilling in the Jacuzzi, and a pink swimsuit for doing my lengths and felt like covering up a little (especially after the buffet breakfast woops). For the Gym I took a pair of shorts and couple of lightweight tops. My trainers I wore on the flight for comfort so this only took another quarter of a case.
The Last quarter was filled up with a few toiletries, holiday essentials and my camera! Easy peasy... efficient packing. A total first for me!

Fashion: Petite? And Curvy...

***Curvy & Petite***

I am not too sure if it's just me but here in the UK I feel a lot of high street & online stores don't cater to "Petite" women who are also curvy .
It seems petite means small in height and width and I rarely find things in the petite range that fit me properly...I know I am not alone in this and I am now on a mission to test this theory!

I am 5ft tall with curves in all the right places and I often find I have to alter clothes outside of the petite range to fit my frame so...

I am now on the hunt for time capsule wardrobe pieces from 3 high street/online stores to see how well they fit...I will be doing regular updates about 'petite wear' for all my funsized curvy diva's out there!

Let's GO!

Time Capsule wardrobe pieces
  • Jeans
  • Tshirts
  • Little Black dress

Food: 3 Pescetarian meal ideas

On a recent holiday with some friends I was asked what kind of foods I eat as a pescetarian.
I am not sure what people have in mind when they think of a pescetarian diet but in general people say "you only eat fish?" with a shocked look on their face as to why on Gods green earth someone would not eat chicken, pork, lamb, beef etc...then they roll their eyes at you and offer a unseasoned piece of cod with char grilled vegetables at a dinner party hehehe....#BORING!
Personally I love beans, pulses, vegetables and the Linda McCartney meat alternative range is supper yummy!
I am obsessed with herbs and spices and use them in pretty much everything, so enough of the babble and onto my 3 Pescetarian meals...Take note meat eaters!
Pescetarian doesn't mean lack of flavour or imagination lol

#1 Lentil, Egg and Potato Salad with Mackerel fillets

I love lentils and this dish is a yummy, quick and satisfying.

#2 Sweet Chili Cauliflower with Basa Fillet (Salisbury's) and herb steamed carrots

I love Basa and this dish is sweet, crunchy and delicious.

#3 Pan fried salmon fillet (well seasoned) with sweet potato fries ans streamed spinach

And there you have it, 3 tasty and delicious meal ideas for a pescetarian.

Enjoy,
