From the streets of Johannesburg, Stitch and Steel was born by founder and designer Linda Gale. With a passion for African print, unique textiles and a love for design, we aim to create stylish wearable clothing using only the finest textiles.
We love to play with gorgeous fabrics, vibrant prints and colours, reworking classic shapes to create contemporary designs. Our clothing is made in small quantities with some one offs, making them unique purchases.
Our concept lies in the fusion of different styles without losing a well-defined aesthetic, so that we can create designs that exalt feminine beauty, prioritising quality as we search for exclusivity
We also offer a bespoke design service, which is made to measure and order for bridal and special occasion wear, so if you fancy a little indulgence, simply make an appointment to come and see us, and we will make sure that your garment fits you to perfection
