So while at work today, a friend sent me the link to an Instagram video uploaded by a dud (yes dud) who is friends with one of her work colleagues.
Before I even watched the video, she informed me that she (rightly) let her disdain be known about the content, whereas her work friend unfortunately "didn't think it was that serious";
Clearly it is that serious.
First of all ole boy ain't exactly Morris Chestnut Fine nor is he DeBarge Light his damn self to be making comments on anybody's appearance! But seriously, I'm 100% certain that if a non-Black person were to reference his Grandmother's, Mother, Aunts, Sister's, Daughter or he himself as 'Black ting' he would be offended, so why he thinks it's okay for him to make those remarks against Dark Skinned Sistah's is absurd to say the very least.
And the mere fact he believes "it's in the nature" of Light Skinned Sistah's to have an attitude is just dumbfounding to me. Does he believe really that all Light Skinned Sistah's go around with a holier than though attitude because they are thankful for a few throwback genes in the Bloodline??

All I can say is, if this kind of poison isn't taken seriously, then it will continue to be passed on to Our future generations and the only end result will be a community that remains divided, still rotting from the inside out...
